ICON 2026 — Presenter Technical Questionnaire

ICON 2026 · Closer to Coherence: Integral's Role in Building a Post-Tragic Future

May 28–31, 2026 · Denver, Colorado

Estimated time to complete: 5–7 minutes

Hi presenters — we're excited to host you at ICON 2026!

To make your presentation run smoothly, all sessions will be played from conference-provided laptops connected to our AV system (rather than from your personal laptop). This keeps audio, video, and the livestream in sync, and avoids on-the-fly troubleshooting between sessions.

This short form gathers what we need to prepare your slot. Please complete it by 2026-05-17. If anything changes after you submit, just resubmit — we'll use your most recent response.

Questions? Reply to your invitation email or message tech support: [email protected]

Section 1 — Presenter Identification

We'll only use this if we need to reach you urgently during the event.

6. Are you presenting in-person or remotely? *
7. Session format *
Section 2 — Your Presentation File
8. Will you be using slides or any visual presentation? *
9. What software did you use to create your presentation? *
10. What operating system did you build it on? *
11. Aspect ratio *

Submitting your file

Two ways to get your presentation to us — please choose one:

Option A (preferred): Upload now. If your slides are final, attach them below. We'll have them loaded and tested before you arrive.

Option B: Bring it to check-in. Bring your file on a USB flash drive (USB-A) OR bring your laptop — we'll copy the file at registration. If you don't have a drive, we'll provide one.

13. How will you submit your presentation? *

Accepts .pptx, .key, .pdf, or .zip. Max 800 MB. Please also upload a PDF backup below — if your slides use custom fonts or animations and they don't render correctly on our laptop, the PDF is our fallback.

This is required even if you upload a .pptx or .key file. To export: File → Export As → PDF, or use "Print to PDF."

Section 3 — Embedded Media (Audio & Video)

Why we ask: Embedded video and audio are the #1 source of presentation hiccups. If you have any, please flag them so our AV team can pre-test your file.

16. Does your presentation include any audio or video? *
17. Is the video embedded directly in the file, or separate?
20. Does any media require VPN, login, or special network access?
Section 4 — Audio & Stage Setup
22. Microphone preference *
23. Will you be moving around / off-stage during your talk?
24. Will any audience members or co-presenters need a mic?
25. Do you need a clicker / slide advancer?
26. Do you need a confidence monitor (a screen showing your slides facing you)?
Section 5 — Special Requests & Accessibility
27. Will you need internet access during your presentation? *

If yes, we'll connect our presenting laptop to the venue Wi-Fi. Please don't rely on your personal hotspot.

e.g., audience polling, breakout exercises, music playback, guided meditation, breathwork. The more we know, the better we can support you.

Section 6 — Onsite Logistics (in-person presenters only)
31. What day are you arriving in Denver?
32. Can you come to the AV table for a 5-minute tech check before your session? *

This is the single best way to avoid surprises. We'll confirm your file loads, video plays, and your mic is set.

Section 7 — Recording & Distribution Consent

All sessions will be recorded for the livestream and post-event archive. Please confirm: *

e.g., "please don't clip for social media without my review."

Section 8 — Optional: On-Camera Testimonial

Last year we filmed short impromptu interviews with attendees and presenters in the atrium ("What did you like? Why would you recommend ICON?"). We'd love to do this again.

35. Are you open to a brief (2–3 minute) on-camera interview during the event?

By submitting, you confirm the recording-consent answers above.
